Summer is over, domestic football is back, and so is Grimsby Fish Dock Group’s commitment to our local teams.
The 2026/27 season sees the Grimsby Fish Market logo adorn the matchday tracksuits of Grimsby Borough. The club plays in the Northern Premier League East, at tier eight – or Non-League Step Four – of the English football pyramid.
The refreshed branding sits below The Wilderness Boys’ club crest, and follows last year’s sponsorship of Grimsby Town’s training tops. Support continues at Blundell Park as it does at Bradley Football Development Centre, home of Borough.
Danny Payne, operations director, and Ben Walker, finance director, joined the team for a launch photograph at the ground, pictured centre right and centre left, respectively.
“GFDG has supported Grimsby Borough for many years through pitch-side advertising and matchday sponsorship opportunities,” Danny said. “There are also several local fish businesses involved with the club, so it feels like a natural fit for us to strengthen our support.
“The people involved in the club has always been very supportive of the market and the wider seafood sector, so we’re pleased to be developing that relationship further.”

An early season highlight has been a 2-0 win at county rivals Lincoln United, in a division that takes them to Northumberland, West Yorkshire and Derbyshire, while pitting them against fellow Humber region teams Beverley Town, Bridlington and North Ferriby.
Jason Flint, chair of Grimsby Borough, said: “We’re pleased to be joining forces with one of the town’s most prominent, recognisable organisations that is synonymous with the history and identity of the area.
“Further strengthening our links with the community and the businesses that make it unique, we’re proud to showcase the distinctive Grimsby Fish Market logo on our player and staff tracksuits worn on matchdays for the year ahead.
“Grimsby Fish Market’s infrastructure and facilities are second to none in the seafood sector, and we’re pleased that they’ve opted to join the Grimsby Borough family for the 2026/27 campaign.”
